#24 00 00 $2'203.57 |
A magnetic heading sensor or a GPS can be
connected to the gyro, to avoid long term drifting due to earth rotation or
gyro drift.

![]() Autopilot Display # 23 10 10 |
The Autopilot
Display is for Mode Selection: Heading mode, Track mode, NAV mode, LAND mode and - for sailboats - an Apparent and True Wind mode, including tack and jibe maneuvers. An analog LED-pointer shows the rudder angle around the face of the display, and the upper half has yellow and red LEDs for Autopilot mode indication. The
digital LCD displays actual and selected heading or track, apparent or true wind angle, cross track error and
distance or course to next way point, depending on the Autopilot mode. |

![]() Sonic Heading Gyro # 91 02 05 |
Heading Gyro The Sonic Heading Gyro is the heart of the system. It is a light weight and maintenance free electronic Gyro Compass, manufactured and steadily improved by TECNAUTIC since 1992. Rough seas and rapid motion will not cause errors. The Sonic Heading Gyro is connected either to a display unit or to an electronic steering wheel. The gyro can be slewed to magnetic north by a magnetic sensor or by a GPS. This feature is especially useful on vessels, where a magnetic compass cannot work reliably. For boat stabilization without navigational information, the gyro can be used without compass or GPS, for example in Docking Mode or in Wind Mode. $ 405.76 Web price $ 324.61 (needs Display Unit or Fly-By-Wire Steering Wheel to work) |
|
![]() H2183 Compass # 91 01 06 |
Magnetic Heading Sensor:
used to synchronize the Sonic Heading Gyro to
magnetic north, to avoid long term drifting of the Gyro. Any short term heading
fluctuation, which is normal for a Magnetic Compass, will not be reflected
on the Sonic Heading Gyro. The H2183 has automatic deviation compensation
and in addition, it transmits heel and pitch angles. $ 631.52 Web price $ 505.22 cable 33 ft: $ 88.43 An existing NMEA Compass can also be used instead of the H2183 to slew the gyro |

| Option: AirmarŪ PB200 # 810302 Ultrasonic Wind Sensor with Compass |
Option:
The AirmarŪ PB200 is a combined Ultrasonic
Wind Sensor with a GPS, a
magnetic Heading-Sensor, an Inclinometer and an air pressure and temperature
sensor, all in the same housing. Data are transmitted by the sensor in NMEA
format and are shown on the Cockpit displays or - with the included "WeatherCaster" software
- on a PC screen.

![]() Autopilot Computer (Drive Box) #230100 |
The Autopilot Computer positions the
rudder and eventually activates the thrusters, so as to achieve the desired heading, track or wind angle of the
boat. It makes use of an already installed Autopilot Rudder Drive or any new rudder drive. It connects to the CAN-Bus cable with RJ-45 connectors which can be installed with a simple crimp tool, if custom wiring is selected. Standard cables have connectors already installed. A reversible rudder motor and its battery are both connected to the Autopilot Computer. So is the electric By-Pass-Valve of a linear hydraulic actuator or the electric clutch of a mechanical actuator. Works with 12 and 24 Volt. The same Autopilot Computer can drive a non reversing pump with associated switch-over valves. Two Autopilot Computers can be installed to drive two pumps, either alternating or parallel, in an augmentation mode, where the second pump starts only when a higher rudder speed is needed. In Docking Mode, with individually steered stern or pod drives or with eventually installed thrusters, the Drive-Boxes will command individual steering angles for the drives and also operate the thrusters. On larger vessels, where constant hydraulic pressure is available, the same Autopilot Computer can drive electric servo valves or proportional valves instead of the rudder motor. Drive Box: $ 795.91 Web price: $ 636.73 |

Rudder Angle Sensor (standard version) #230004. The sensor supports direct installation on the joint between linear actuator
and rudder arm. Connects electrically to the Autopilot Computer. $ 177.91 Web price $ 142.33 |
