Components:
The Log-6 #610000 consists of the "Log" Display and a Log Sensor (Regatta Speed
Sensor depicted).
A power connection cable and bus terminator
is required once in a system (#500116, web price $39.12).

Select the Speed and Temperature Sensor:
Three different speed sensors are available (all are retractable). A 10m (33 ft) cable is included with the sensor, with a water tight connector fitted just next to it.

Log Mixer and Switcher
Two speed sensors may be installed symmetrically on
the hull. Normally, speed is averaged over both sensors. If a sensor fails,
only the remaining one will be used and the jammed sensor signal will be
ignored.
On Multi Hulls it may be necessary to measure boat speed on the leeward
hull. Sensor switching will then be automatic as a function of wind angle.

Log data can be displayed on any display in the system, e.g. on a "Multi" Display. This reduces system cost. However a standard set of instruments will normally also include a "Log" Display. Click here for general features of the Cockpit Display. Detailed functions are found in the manual. Speed data can be output in NMEA0183 format, if required.
Bright yellow LED-pointer around face of display shows amplified speed without delay: once round for each knot.
The digital LCD displays:

· Trip and Total Log Distance
· Timer and Race Timer
· Water Temperature
· D.R. Position (requires compass)
· Calibration setting
· Battery Voltage
· Any other desired function available in the system, e.g. Heading, or Depth etc.
Optional
JUMBO Displays have 40 mm
(1.5 in.) large digits and can display all available parameters of the system. Size
6.3x3.0x2.2 in. (160 x 78 x 55 mm).
